Storage
One place for every file, and every earlier version of it
An IOPStor NAS gives Windows, Mac and Linux machines the same shared folders, keeps unlimited snapshots of them, and serves storage to your virtual machines over iSCSI and NFS. Sized from a 4-bay unit for 5 to 10 users up to a 60-bay, 1.3 PB chassis.
What a NAS does for an office
Shared folders for everyone
SMB for Windows and Mac, NFS for Linux, plus FTP and WebDAV. Permissions per share and per folder, and people sign in with their Active Directory accounts.
Every version, not just the last
Snapshots run hourly, daily or weekly, and take no space until data changes. Bring back a deleted file or a whole share from the web interface in a few clicks.
Recovery from ransomware
Snapshots are read-only, so ransomware that encrypts files over the network cannot change them. Roll the share back to the hour before and carry on.
Storage for virtual machines
iSCSI and NFS for VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, Proxmox VE and oVirt, thin-provisioned so capacity is used only as it fills.
A copy somewhere else
